Health Ministry

Ascension Church is committed to serve as a place of health, wholeness and healing for all people in the congregation and the communities which surround the church.  This congregation affirms the importance of health of the whole person - physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual - and offers programs which enhance learning, self care, support, service and worship.  Please join us!

WORSHIP & PRAYER

All worship services celebrate the healing power of faith, and special services which emphasize healing are also conducted at Ascension throughout the year.  Before Christmas, a Service of Light is offered for those who experience difficulty celebrating due to personal losses.

Healing Prayer

Stephen Ministers pray with those who desire private intercessory prayer during worship.

Prayer Chain

Committed lay persons pray each day for those who request prayer for themselves or on behalf of others.  All requests are confidential.  To submit a prayer request, please call the church office or email Prayerchain@Ascension-Church.org .

Lay Home Communion Ministry

First Sunday of each month, lay persons bring the sacrament to the homes of those people who are unable to be present in worship.

STEPHEN MINISTRY
