Ascension's Children and Family Ministry brings a unique blend of Bible Study, Special Events and Family Fellowship opportunities to the families in our community
Children will experience Bible Lessons each Sunday Morning through storytelling, drama, art, games, science, music and even food! Our rotation model Sunday School is based on Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences, allowing children to explore Bible Stories and deepen their faith through many modalities. This fall, we will be exploring Jesus' parables as written in the book of Matthew. Sunday School registration forms can be accessed throught the PDF files below.
One way we can share God's love and our blessings, is through our service projects. The Children's offerings this will go to support ELCA Global Barnyard as we raise money to "buy" an animal/s for a family in need. We will also be having a shoe drive through Soles4Soules. Shoe collection will begin on Rally Day, September 11th.
We hope that you can join us for our many Family Fellowship activities throughout the year. This fall you can camp out on the lawn and enjoy a cookout and outdoor movie with your family and friends the weekend of September 23rd.
